Charlie Chaplin Look a Like & Mime
Richard Knight makes a perfect lookalike Chaplin. Classically trained as a mime artist, he has studied all of Chaplin's major films, and has performed as Chaplin on many occasions including stage performances at the Pavilion Theatre, Bournemouth and The Mercarto Centre in Dubai. Physical comedy in the true traditions of the clown does not get much better than this. Ideal for walkabout performance. Chaplin shows also available.

Edmond Tahl
Edmond accidentally finds himself trapped in a perpendicular world of absurdity, where the bizarre is always close on his heels. Amidst a reality of swarming bees, spaghetti western gun fights, alarm bells, improbably large monsters, ringing telephones, crashing glass, low flying helicopters, packs of hunting hounds, seagulls, tennis matches, James Bond scenarios, thunder and lightning, screaming babies and freight trains running him down, he attempts to keep his composure. A high quality state of the art amplified suitcase provides the soundtrack for this hilarious, high energy, improvisational, walkabout mime act.

French Mine Artist
Classic white-faced mime, everything from pulling ropes and the glass wall to walking in the wind and moon walking. Richard Knight was classically trained by the late French Master Jacques LECOQ from Paris and has performed and trained with various other high profile mime artists. Richard can also be accompanied by a French dressed, accordion player to set the mood perfectly.

Britain's most rejected aristocrat, Lady Christobel bubbles her way from pillar to post, hobnobbing with her public. A derelict dowager, her appearance and joie de vivre create astonishment and mirth. Enduring these less-than-royal walkabouts is her trusty butler, a dilapidated, lugubrious old retainer whose cutting asides undermine Lady Christobel's fond fancies. Absolutely spiffing at public gatherings and private functions. Available also in a late Victorian or Edwardian costume. Family motto: 'A faux pas for every occasion.'
Medieval Stilt Walker (Sir Lupin)
Sir Lupin is a medieval stilt-walker with a difference. Our knight in armour has lost his horse and so must be carried on the heads of his unfaithful peasants, Bleare and Bloutte. Standing nine feet high and wearing real metal armour, Sir Luplin astounds and delights in his quest for Shegar, while his peasants beneath mutter quietly and occasionally revolt. A very funny and unique act.
One Man Ban
A special and unusual attraction for both indoor and outdoor events. Our roving One Man Band plays fourteen different instruments, sings and dances at the same time to create an impressive impact.

Musical Ruth & Her Amazing Mobile Piano
An amazing mobile piano driven around by Sister Ruth, a madcap nun who will stop and entertain any group of people with comedy patter, hilarious dancing, facial contortions, sound effects and unusual renditions of all your favourite songs. A mix and mingle comedy act performed on an extravagantly decorated baby grand piano built on to an electrically powered vehicle!
Fairly Fresh Fish Co.
Mixing with the crowd, offering the traditional fare of a seafood stall. As the audience looks down upon the tray however, they quickly realise that not all is as it should be…There are prawns dancing and an octopus springing to life alongside strange stirrings in the jellied eel jar and a worrying seafood smoothie amongst other delights. All the creatures are made with exquisite attention to detail and are a joy to look at. The illusion is achieved by using fake arms to hold up the seafood tray, thus allowing the performer to animate the produce from the underside. Each creature comes with its own story (including the humans!) in an act that has more lines than a mackerel fisherman.
The Flying Buttresses
With performances that are beautiful and funny, The Flying Buttresses capture the hearts of audiences far and wide with stunning special effects and believable characterisations. The hugely popular Hodman Dodmanott and Sally Forth are an enchanting, interactive puppetry walkabout featuring an elderly couple of miniature proportions, huge personalities and a not-so-firm grip on the ways of modern living. Having lived alone for hundreds of years, blissfully unaware of the changing world, this pint-sized pair have ventured out in search of fame, fortune and friendship with their possessions strapped to their backs. Although billed as a walkabout, the performance is often a series of small, static shows. Crowds drawn to the uncanny illusion find it impossible to leave as they are regaled with long-winded stories that never seem to go anywhere; but then what would you expect from a pair of ramblers...
Granny Turismo
Doris, Marge and Mary are Britain’s only formation shopping trolley team! These ladies have seen and done it all and are now having a rare old time on their souped-up shopping trolleys. Marvel at their routines and get down with their pumping sounds. Available as a 3 person promenade show with choreographed routines or a 2 person walkabout.
Penguins
Starring the infant phenomenon Baby Egbertah and Urving Mackerel Esquire, the talkative fish supper. These pint sized pip-squeaks are carried around by their giant penguin steeds. The Penguin Family has arrived!For environmental events Baby Egbertah adopts the persona of an environmental activist, whilst Irving Mackerel Esq. becomes a climate change denier. Their comic banter both illuminates and entertains!Combining animatronic costumes, traditional puppetry, strong characterisation and witty banter, these gentle giants and their rambunctious charges are sure to enchant at any Christmas, winter or Environmental themed event.
Felix and Felix English gentlemen twins!
Victorian themed twins, with Penny Farthing stunt riding, juggling, object manipulation, contact juggling, robotic body popping, close up magic, impecable manners and fantastic chat, all to the accompaniment of period, (and not so period) music from their suitcase sound system and sometimes live music on the ukulele and banjo uke too. Available as a ride about/walkabout, mix and mingle and wonderful meet and greet, they can perform street shows, entertain guests at parties, animate trade shows and wow cruise ships.With a winning combination of a highly skilled left-handed performer and a talented right-handed performer meaning many tricks are performed in unison!
Hairy Chairs
Inspired by imaginary friends, Swallows and Amazons style adventures and the magical world of childhood, Creature Encounter present the Hairy Chairs. Two giant walking armchairs complete with big slippers, convey their young charges around your event - the ever curious Freya aged ten and her adopted younger brother the philosophical monster Gumf. Played in a style of wide eyed innocence and highlighting the importance of friendship and adventure, these enchanting characters combine the slap-stick comedy of a Bernie Clifton style ostrich illusion with the subtleties of cable controlled animatronic puppetry.
Mistress Crabby and Master Mandrake
Medieval mountebanks, peddling nostrums, elixirs, moth-eaten relics and Latin tags, all available for a handful of groats, in an attempt to effect regeneration of those whose humours are out of balance. Adept at moving from town to town, Crabby and Mandrake are quick to infect the populace with laughter - the best medicine.
The Top Bananas
A fabulous group of stilt-walking musicians playing a selection of Jazz, Funk, Disco and Ska classics. As well as the very popular Jungle Band there are also Western, Sporty, Disco, Flower Children, Floppy Toppers and Black Tie versions available.They are self-contained and electro-acoustic using a portable amplification system perfect for walkabout, parading and street performance. The full five piece band consists of harmony vocals, horns, bass, percussion and sometimes a leaping monkey on bouncing stilts playing an oil-can guitar!
